Daniel John Mark Luke O'Donoghue, widely known as Danny O'Donoghue, is a talented Irish singer and songwriter best known as the lead singer of the Irish rock band The Script. He was born in Dublin, Ireland, on October 3, 1980.
Danny gained global recognition as the lead vocalist of the Irish rock band The Script, which he co-founded in 2001 alongside Mark Sheehan and Glen Power. Danny's powerful vocals and emotional lyrics have contributed significantly to the band's success, which has sold over 20 million records worldwide and earned numerous accolades, including three Brit Awards.
Before forming The Script, Danny worked as a songwriter and producer for numerous artists, including Britney Spears, Boyz II Men, and many others. He also played the keyboard for the alternative rock band Mytown. In addition to his music career, Danny is known for his coaching role on the first two seasons of the popular television talent show, The Voice UK, where he mentored several aspiring singers.
