Edward M. Sears, better known as Teddy Sears, is an American actor, born April 6, 1977, in Washington, D.C. He was raised in Chevy Chase, Maryland, where he played football for Maryland University. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in business management in 1999 before discovering his true calling and beginning to pursue acting. One of his first roles were in the TV series One Life to Live and Sex and the City in early 2000s. Teddy is best known for his roles on One Life to Live as Chad; the TNT legal drama Raising the Bar as Richard Patrick Woolsley; the FX anthology horror drama American Horror Story as Patrick; DC Comics supervillain Hunter Zolomon / Zoom on The Flash as Jay Garrick / Flash. He showed his talent in comedy in parts on The David Letterman Show in 1980 and Late Night with Conan O'Brien in 1993.
