Molly Kathleen Ringwald is an American actress, singer, dancer, and author best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Roseville, California, United States, on February 18, 1968. Molly began her acting career in 1979 when he appeared in the TV series Diff'rent Strokes and The Facts of Life, but she became famous in 1984 when she acted in the teen drama film Sixteen Candles. She has since been a regular on the TV series Doc McStuffins, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Townies, and The Stand, but she is best known for starring in the mystery drama series Riverdale alongside Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, K.J. Ap, and Madelaine Petsch. Her filmography includes The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Kissing Booth, For Keeps, Not Another Teen Movie, and Betsy's Wedding.
