The Elovaters Bio
The Boston-based reggae rock band The Elovaters, formerly known as The Cornerstone, stun audiences with their captivating music. The talented group is composed of Jackson Wetherbee, John Alves, Nick Asta, Matt Link, Derrick Cabral, and Greg Nectow. The Elovaters made waves with their debut album, The Cornerstone, which reached #2 on the iTunes reggae in its first week. The band is known for touring heavily, and have opened for and played alongside many talented artists including John Brown’s Body, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Roots of Creation, Ziggy Marley, Stick Figure, The Movement, and New Kingston. The Elovaters reached a milestone, releasing their album Defy Gravity, which debuted #1 on the iTunes and Billboard reggae charts. Their popularity continues to climb, and their song, People Go, was featured on the popular TV series Hawaii Five-O.
