Clifton Powell is an American actor, born on May 16, 1956, in Washington, DC. He played a supporting role in the Oscar-winning film Ray alongside Jamie Foxx and Regina King. Some of his other popular works include Rush Hour and Deep Rising in 1998.
His first acting role was in the TV movie Ephraim McDowell’s Kentucky Ride in 1981. Now, Powell counts more than two hundred movies and TV shows. Other projects that he appeared in include Menace II Society, Next Friday, Friday After Next, and many more. He has acted in many TV shows including Army Wives, Chase Street, Saints & Sinners, and others. Powell has guest-starred in Murder, She Wrote, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, NYPD Blue, In the Heat of the Night, and House MD. In Saints & Sinners, he appears alongside Vanessa Bell Calloway and J.D. Williams.
