Worthy honed his abilities during his formative years at Central East High School, where he displayed tremendous potential. Continuing his football journey, Worthy committed to the University of Michigan, initially set to pursue his college career there. However, his path took an unexpected turn as he ultimately made the decision to join the University of Texas at Austin.
Worthy made an immediate impact in his freshman season at Texas in 2021, earning significant playing time. Throughout the year, he left an indelible mark on the school's football program, shattering numerous records for freshman wide receivers.
