Singer-songwriter and model Steve Grand was born on February 28, 1990 in Lemont, Illinois. Grand credits his father for influencing his desire to pursue a musical career, and Grand started writing music when he was eleven years old. Prior to starting his music career, he modeled for magazines. He also played piano in churches and nightclubs around Chicago. He uploaded a self-produced video for his song, “All-American Boy,” on Youtube on July 2, 2013, and it went viral overnight. On July 18, 2013, he made his first television appearance on “Windy City Live,” and released his follow-up single, “Stay,” in September 2013. A single entitled “Time” was released in 2014.
