Temuera Morrison Bio

Temuera Jack Nicolas Morrison (usually known as just Temuera Morrison) is a New Zealand actor and musical artist who was born on December 26th, 1960 in Rotorua, North Island, New Zealand. He was born and raised in New Zealand by his parents Hana Stafford and Laurie Morrison. 

Temuera is famously known for his roles in the hit TV film Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. He is also popular for playing Jake Heke in the 1994 film Once Were Warriors. Recently, Temuera voiced Chief Tui, Moana’s father, in Disney’s Moana (2016). He also famously played Aquaman’s father in the Warner Bros. feature Aquaman 1 & 2. He also appeared in the comedy film Couples Retreat and the action flick Green Lantern. As a musical artist, he dropped his debut album Tem through Sony Music Entertainment NZ in November 2014. The album was made of song covers that his father and uncle (Sir Howard Morrison) used to perform when he was growing up.
