Big Moochie Grape is an American rapper from East Memphis. With a rough childhood where he went to juvenile prison at just 8, he used music as his escape. He started listening to legends from Memphis such as 8Ball & MJG and Three 6 Mafia. In 2017, when he found a studio that offered recording sessions at $20 per song, he began to take his career as a rapper seriously. He would record songs and share them with DJs at local clubs until his music reached Young Dolph, who also became his mentor. Dolph was the owner of one of the biggest independent rap labels and was signed on to the Paper Route EMPIRE. Following that, he released his first project, ‘Eat or Get Ate’. The album featured tracks like ‘Clusters’ which was an instant hit with the listeners. He received a purple Lamborghini Urus as a gift from his mentor after the success of his first album. Big Moochie’s raps are a narrative of his life. This is evident in the song, ‘Three Months’ where he talks about his rise as an artist. He has worked on several projects since then with artists like LoLife Blacc, Jay Sizzle and DJ Fly Guy.
