Terry Fator Bio

Terry Wayne Fator (also known as The Million Dollar Voice and The Human Jukebox) is an American ventriloquist and actor who was born on June 10th, 1965 in Dallas, Texas, United States. Terry read Paul Winchell’s Ventriloquism for Fun and Profit and was inspired to take up the career. Soon he won $25 for a performance at a church picnic and throughout his childhood, he played for friends and family. Terry won one million dollars from season two of America’s Got Talent in 2007 and was the first ventriloquist to do so. The second after him to win was Paul Zerdin and the third was Darci Lynne. In Terry’s audition on Episode 203, he impersonated Etta James by singing At Last in ventriloquism through one of his puppets, Emma Taylor. The judges Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne, and David Hasselhoff all voted yes, sending him to the next round in Las Vegas. As an actor and writer, Terry is known for Live from Las Vegas (2009), Drop Dead Diva (2009), and Terry Fator Live in Concert (2014).
