Christine Baranski is an American actress, singer, and producer born in Buffalo, New York on May 2, 1952. She is best known for her roles in the shows Cybill, The Good Wife, The Good Fight, and The Big Bang Theory. She made her debut on television in 1977 in the series Busting Loose and continued landing roles in shows like Another World, The Thorns, Law & Order, Cybill, Saturday Night Live, Frasier, Welcome to New York, Happy Family, Ghost Whisperer, Ugly Betty and others. In 1980 she made her debut in theater in the theater production Coming Attractions. She has since had roles in theater productions on and off Broadway like Hide & Seek, Sally and Marsha, The Real Thing, Rumors, Sweeney Todd, Boeing Boeing, Nick & Nora and more. Baranski made her debut in film in 1982 in the movie Soup for One and has also had roles in the films Cracker, Legal Eagles, The Pick-up Artists, Life with Mikey, The Ref, New Jersey Drive, Cruel Intentions among others. Throughout her career she has been nominated for a number of awards and has won three Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Tony Awards, two Drama Desk Awards, an Emmy Award and more.
