Nico Tortorella is an American television and movie actor, as well as a writer. He was born on the 30th of July, 1988, in Illinois, U.S. He started his professional acting career in theater, when he was a teen. He got his first small role in television as Razor, on the series “Make It or Break It”, but his first leading role and breakthrough was in 2009, when he started playing as Cole Shepherd, in “The Beautiful Life: TBL” which ran on The CW Television Network. Soon after, he landed his first role on the big screen with the movie “Twelve”, directed by Joel Schumacher and starring Chace Crawford. In 2011, he starred the horror movie “Scream 4” and the same year he acted in the series “The Following”. In 2014, Tortorella starred in the independent movie “Hunter & Game”, which premiered at the L.A. Indie Film Fest and won Best Feature and Best Director of a Feature Award. In September 2019, Tortorella’s first memoir was published, under the title “Space Between: Explorations of Love, Sex, and Fluidity”.
