Sean Ono Lennon is an American musician, songwriter, and actor born in New York City, New York on October 9, 1975. Sean is the son of the musicians John Lennon and Yoko Ono. His music career started at 6 years old when he recited a story on his mothers album Seasons of Glass in 1981. He has been a member of the bands Cibo Matto, The Plastic Ono Band, The Claypool Lennon Delirium, and The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger. As a solo artist, he was signed by Grand Royal Records and in 1998 released his debut solo album titled Into the Sun. In 1999 he released his debut EP titled Half Horse, Half Musician. In 2001 he was signed with the label Capitol Records and in 2006 released his second album titled Friendly Fire. As a producer, he has produced the albums Primitive by Soulfly, Lust for Life by Lana Del Rey, Blackhole Lace by Kemp & Eden, Some Places Along the Way by Irina Lazareanu and more. In 1988 he made his debut in film in Moonwalker and has since had roles and made appearances in the films and shows Imagine: John Lennon, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Melrose Place, Coin Locker Babies, Alter Egos and others.
