Rafinha Bastos is a Brazilian comedian, actor, television personality and journalist born in Porto Alegre, Brazil on December 5, 1976. Bastos went to college at Chadron State in Nebraska on a scholarship to play basketball. He made his debut on television in the show Os Ricos Também Choram and continued landing roles in the shows Mothern, Descolados, As Olívias, Olívias na TV, and Eu, Ela e um Milhão de Seguidores. He has also been a host or made appearances on the shows CQC, A Liga, Saturday Night Live Brasil, A Vida de Rafinha Bastos, Agora é Tarde, Chamado Central, Ta Rindo do Que?, and Ultimate Beastmaster Brasil. In 2007 he made his debut in film in the movie Amigas and has since had roles in the films O Riso dos Outros, The Dognapper, Copa de Elite, O Segredo do Molho, Superpai, O Tempo, Mais Forte que o Mundo, and Internet: O Filme. Bastos also performs stand-up comedy and posts comedy videos on YouTube. He started his YouTube in 2006 and has amassed a following of 2.4 million subscribers with over 270 million total video views. He also has a large following on social media with 4.2 million followers on Facebook, 11.6 million followers on Twitter, and 1.4 million followers on Instagram.
