Peng Peng Lee Bio

Christine Jennifer Peng-Peng Lee, popularly known by Peng-Peng Lee, is a Canadian artistic gymnastic who was born on June 27, 1992. She began competing professionally in 2007 when she participated in the Canadian Championships placing second. Later that year she also competed at the Junior Pan American Championships as part of the Canadian team, which earned the silver medal. After competing in the Canadian Championships in 2008 she was diagnosed with spondylolisthesis, which meant she had to take a break from gymnastics. She came back in 2010 at Elite Canada, winning the competition. In 2011 she participated in the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup and World Artistic Gymnastic Championship. Later that year she was part of the Canadian team that won a silver medal at the 2011 Pan American Games. In 2012 she injured her knee and withdrew from the Olympic Selection. In 2014 she joined UCLA but was unable to compete until 2017. In 2018 she was awarded the Honda Sports Award.
