Monique Billings is an American Basketball Player for WNBA’s Atlanta Dream. She has actively participated in sports and athletics since her school years. She was a part of the Santiago High School basketball team and the high jump and field team. Recruiting services ranked her among the top 30 players when she graduated high school. This earned her an invite to the United States National Team trials in the Under 18 category in 2014. At UCLA, she played 37 games and became part of the Pac-12 all-freshman team. She led her team in rebounds in the 2016 season and bagged an honorable mention. She led her team to the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament in her junior year. In her senior season, she led the Pac-12 in double-doubles, rebounds and offensive rebounds. For the first time since 1999, the Bruins reached the Elite Eight of the NCAA tournament after Billings began to start the games. In the 2018 WNBA Draft, Billings was drafted by Atlanta Dreams in the second round.
