Troy Deeney is a professional football player who plays for Birmingham City. Deeney, who plays as a striker, was born on 29th June 1988 in Birmingham, England. He started his career with the youth setup at Chelmsley Town and went on to make his league debut with the senior team in 2004. After being spotted by Walsall’s youth academy manager Mick Halsall, Deeney was offered a trial by the club. He went on to make 123 appearances for the club, scoring 27 goals.
In August 2010, he signed for Watford on a two-year deal. He made his debut for Watford on the same day he signed. In his first season, he made 40 appearances for the English club. In 2013, he extended his contract with Watford for a further three years. By the time he was leaving Watford in 2021, he had made 389 appearances, scoring 131 goals. In October 2015, Deeney joined Birmingham City on a two-year deal.
