Slayyyter Bio
Catherine Slater, also known as Slayyyter, is an American pop singer born in 1996 in Kirkwood, Missouri. Slater attended the University of Missouri briefly, where she started experimenting with digital music production. While doing so, she also started teaming up with the Los Angeles-based artist Ayesha Erotica. Between 2017 and 2018, Slater released various standalone singles independently, eventually growing a fanbase on Twitter. In 2019 a preview of her single “Mine” went viral and propelled the song to the 38th spot on the iTunes pop chart. Shortly after, the artist went on her debut solo tour throughout the United States, with all her dates sold out. Following this "Mini-Tour," as it was branded, Slayyyter released her first self-titled mixtape, reaching the 4th spot on the iTunes pop chart.
