Oana Andreea Grigoruț, popularly known as Oana Gregory, was born on January 9, 1996 in north-western Romania. She is a Romanian-American actress, best known for her roles in Disney productions including Kickin' It, Lab Rats, and Crash & Bernstein.
When Oana was six years old, her family relocated to the United States with the thought of building a better life for Oana and her older brother, Dorel. In 2006, Oana participated in a contest organized by International Models & Talent Association, which specialized in discovering new talents in acting, music, and fashion. Of the 1,000 contestants from English-speaking countries, Oana won the title of "actress of the year" at preteens and was declared the first runner-up – "model of the year", also at preteens.
After the contest, Oana received 54 bids from different agencies and managers in Hollywood who wanted to represent her. She landed her first feature film role as the leading "Loosie Goosie" in the 2010 indie Spork, a musical comedy that received three film festival awards, a CineKid Award, and a British Film Institute nomination. Since then, she has also acted in other movie and television series including Olivia (2009), Lab Rats (2012), Kickin' It (2011), and Crash & Bernstein (2012), among many others.
