S. S. Rajamouli Bio
S. S. Rajamouli is a film director born on 10th October 1973 in Mysore State, India. He is best known for his work in Telugu films. His films “Baahubali: The Beginning” in 2015, “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” in 2017, and “RRR” in 2022 remain the most expensive films at the time of their release. He has won several awards in his career, including 5 Nandi Awards, 4 Filmfare Awards, and 3 National Film Awards.
All the 12 feature films he has directed have been successful at the box office. In 2012, he directed the fantasy action film “Eega”, which won the Most Original Film Award at the 8th Toronto After Dark Film Festival. Baahubali 2 has sold more than 1 million tickets, the highest for any film in India. The Baahubali films have also been nominated for the Saturn Awards six times.
