Amari Cooper is an American football player born in Miami, Florida on June 17, 1994. He is currently a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. He played football in high school at Miami Northwestern Senior High School in Miami, Florida and was a dominant on the 7-in-7 circuit at several college campuses before his senior season. Cooper was a first team FHSAA 8A All-State Selection and the number 4 player on The Orlando Sentinel’s Florida Top 100. In 2012, he was invited to play at the 2012 Under Armour All-American game where he had a 75-yard touchdown grab and a 93-yard punt return for score. He attended college at the University of Alabama and played college football with the school team. While with the team he was the Biletnikoff Award winner as the nation’s top receiver. In 2015 he was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft, 4th overall. He made his NFL debut on September 13, 2015 against the Cincinnati Bengals. In 2018 Cooper was traded to the Dallas Cowboys and played his first game with the team on November 5, 2018.
