Patrick Beverley Bio
Patrick Beverley was born on July 12, 1988 in Chicago, Illinois. He plays the point guard position for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He attended High school at John Marshall Metropolitan in Chicago and played college basketball for Arkansas from 2006 to 2008. He was drafted in the second round as the 42nd overall pick by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2009 NBA Draft.
Beverly won several awards and honors including the NBA All-Defensive First Team (2017), NBA All-Defensive Second Team (2014), NBA Skills Challenge champion (2015), All-EuroCup First Team (2012), SEC Freshman of the Year (2007) and SEC All-Freshman Team (2007). He also won a silver medal representing the United States in the FIBA U19 World Championship (2007).
