Scott Van Pelt Bio

Scott Van Pelt is an American sportscaster and host of sports talk shows, who was born on July 9, 1966, in Brookeville, USA. He received a degree in radio, television, and film from the University of Maryland. Additionally, he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. The following year, in 1990, he launched a career as a host. After that, he became an anchor on the Golf Channel, where he worked from 1994 until 2000. Together with Ryen Russillo, he co-hosted the show “SVP & Russillo” on ESPN Radio, and he also co-anchored “SportsCenter” on ESPN at 11 p.m. Moreover, he acts as a host for a number of golf tournaments for the network. Since 2001, he has been serving as the host of their flagship programme, a role that he has held continuously since that year.
