Bartolo Colon is a Dominican-American professional baseball player, born on May 24, 1973, in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. He is known by the nickname Big Sexy. The Latin American-born pitcher played for the Cleveland Indians, Montreal Expos, Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics, New York Mets, Atlanta Braves, Minnesota Twins, and Texas Rangers. The American pitcher won the Cy Young Award with the Los Angeles Angels in 2005 and helped the New York Mets reach the World Series in 2015. He is a four-time MLB All-Star, as are Brian Fuentes and Justin Morneau. Bartolo and his Rangers teammate Adrián Beltré were the last 90`s active MLB players in 2018. On February 14, 2020, Bartolo signed with the Acereros de Monclova of the Mexican League.
