Alex Borstein Bio

Alexandrea Borstein is an award-winning American actress, voice actress, writer, comedian, and producer. She was born in Highland Park, Illinois, United States, on February 15, 1971. Alex began her career as a writer, but she soon began performing as a voice actor for the animated series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. She has gone on to lend her voice to the animated series Power Rangers Zeo, Big Bad Beetleborgs, Robot Chicken, The Cleveland Show, and the hit show Family Guy, that she has contributed to since 1999 alongside fellow voice actors Seth MacFarlane, Seth Green, and Mila Kunis.

Alex began acting in front of the camera as a part of the comedic sketch show MADtv. She has since acted in series like Gilmore Girls, Getting On, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and the hit movies Ted, Bad Santa, and Little Man. Alex has won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
