Born in Panorama City, California on November 8, 1989, Giancarlo Stanton was the second round, pick of the Florida Marlins in the 2007 MLB Amateur Draft. His current position is rightfielder. He made his debut on June 8, 2010. He started playing for the Miami Marlins in 2012, and he became part of the New York Yankees in 2018. He has been part of the All-Star Games in 2012, 2014, 2015, and 2017. He received the Wilson Defensive Player title in 2012 and the Hank Aaron Award in 2014 and 2017. He was also the Most Valuable Player in 2017. He received two Silver Sluggers – in 2014 and 2017. Stanton has also been named as the Player of the Month three times and Player of the Week seven times.
