The Velveteers is an American music band that performs rock, indie, and pop-rock music.
They emerged onto the scene in 2014 under the creative leadership of guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Demi Demitro. Joined by Baby Pottersmith on guitar, bass, and keyboards, and Jonny Fig on drums, the trio forged a distinct sound blending elements of rock, indie, and pop-rock. In 2016, their debut track "Death Hex" marked the beginning of a meteoric rise. Their talent caught the attention of acclaimed band Deap Vally, leading to an invitation to support them on a tour of the United Kingdom.
