Semi Ojeleye (born December 5, 1994 in Overland Park, Kansas) is a Nigerian-American power forward in the NBA. He began his career playing at Ottawa High School in Ottawa, Kansas, where he set the high school career record with 2,763 and the single season scoring record with 952 points.
After starting with Duke for college and playing sparingly for two seasons. Ojeleye transferred to SMU. For the 2016/2017 season, he led the team to both American Athletic Conference (AAC) regular season and Tournament Championships. He was also named AAC Player of the Year.
In 2017, he was chosen by the Boston Celtics in the second round of the NBA Draft with the 37th overall pick. He made his professional debut on October 17, 2017, in a 102–99 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. He continued to play with the Celtics until 2021 when he signed with the Milwaukee Bucks on a one-year, veteran's minimum contract.
At the end of his contract, Ojeleye advanced with other teams including the Los Angeles Clippers and the Virtus Bologna of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A. He led Virtus to its third Supercup, and was nominated MVP of the competition. On July 1, 2023, his contract with Bologna was bought out by Spanish club Valencia for $300,000.
