Billie Piper, also known as Leian Piper, is an English actress, singer, producer, and writer best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Swindon, Wiltshire, England, on September 22, 1982. Billie began her acting career in 1996 when she appeared in the films The Leading Man and Evita. She has since been a regular on the TV series I Hate Suzie, Collateral, Penny Dreadful, and Doctor Who, but she is best known for starring in the drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl alongside Iddo Goldberg, Lily James, Ashley Madekwe, Joanna Bobin, and Cherie Lunghi. Billie’s filmography includes Rare Beasts, Two for Joy, Eternal Beauty, Doctor Who: The Empty Child, and The Ruby in the Smoke. Billie began her musical career in the late 1990s with the release of her debut album Honey To The B, and her discography now includes the hit singles Because We Want To, Day And Night, Girlfriend, and the album Walk Of Life.
