Silk City Bio
Silk City are a British-American electronic music supergroup made of acclaimed DJs and producers Thomas Wesley Pentz, also known as Diplo and Mark Ronson. They began working together in 2018, and their debut single “Only Can Get Better” featuring a collaboration with Daniel Merriweather was released during that same year. The duo’s second hit single “Feel About You” alongside Mapei, was released a few months later and it received very positive reviews. Their next move was a collaboration with pop superstar Dua Lipa on the song “Electricity”. The single was a huge success, making it to international charts, and ranking on number 4 on the UK Singles chart. The record was certified platinum by ARIA and BPI. They were also nominated in 2019 for Best Pop/Electronic song at the International Dance Music Awards for that single.
