Julian Marley Bio
Julian Ricardo Marley is the famous son of Reggae master, Bob Marley. Julian was born on the 4th of June, 1975 in London, England. He traveled between Jamaica and England during his childhood and was bound to follow in his dad’s footsteps. He permanently moved back to Jamaica in 1993, where he started a musical group with brothers Damian Marley, Ky-Mani Marley, and Stephen Marley which was called Ghetto Youths Crew. It was in 1996, that Lion in the Morning became his first solo debut album, which focused on the reflection of his origins. Julian had the honor of performing at the Beijing hosted Olympic Games in 2008. He released three more albums entitled A time and Place in 2003, Awake in 2009, and As I Am in 2019. His fourth album, As I Am, was nominated for the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album.
