Paul Mescal Bio
Paul Mescal is an Irish actor who was born on February 2, 1996, in Maynooth, Ireland. He graduated from The Lir National Academy of Dramatic Art with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting in 2017 and immediately started working on theatrical productions such as “The Great Gatsby”, “The Red Shoes”, “The Plough and the Stars”, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, and others.
His most known part is actually his first television role in the TV mini-series “Normal People” (2020) portraying Connell Waldron, which made him win several nominations for different awards such as a “Primetime Emmy”, an “AACTA International Award”, a “Critics Choice Award”, and others. Paul won for his interpretation a “BAFTA TV Award”, a “Gold Derby TV Award”, an “INOCA TV Award” and an “IFTA Award”. He also got the opportunity to appear on “The Late Late Show” with James Corden and in “The Graham Norton Show”.
