Karise Eden, born on July 11, 1992 in Gosford, New South Wales, is an Australian singer-songwriter. In 2012, she auditioned for the first season of The Voice Australia with It’s A Man’s World by James Brown. She was able to get the four judges turn their chairs around but in the end, she decided to join Seal’s team. Eden progressed through the show and eventually won the whole thing. After the finale aired, she broke a record held by the legendary band The Beatles after she occupied the top three places on the country’s singles chart. She also released her first album that year entitled My Journey and it immediately went number one on the albums chart. It was also certified as double platinum and became 2012’s highest selling album. Since then, she has released Things I’ve Done (2014) and Born To Fight (2018).
