Janoris Jenkins Bio
Janoris Jenkins is an American professional football player born in Pahokee, Florida on October 29, 1988. He is currently a cornerback for the New York Giants of the National Football League. Jenkins played football in high school at Pahokee High School for the Pahokee Blue Devils football team. He went on to play college football at the University of Florida for the Florida Gators football team from 2008 to 2010. In 2012 he was selected by the St. Louis Rams in the second round, 39th overall, in the 2012 NFL Draft. He was signed to a four-year contract worth $4.99 million with $2.93 million guaranteed and a signing bonus of $2.06 million. In 2016 he signed a five-year contract with the New York Giants or $62.5 million with $28.80 million guaranteed and a signing bonus of $10 million. Throughout his career he has recorded 363 tackles, 2 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, 81 pass deflections, 18 interceptions, and 9 touchdowns.
