Septicflesh is a Greek symphonic death metal band renowned for their innovative fusion of orchestral elements with extreme metal. Formed in 1990 in Athens, the band consists of Spiros Antoniou (bass, vocals), Christos Antoniou (guitars, orchestration), Sotiris Vayenas (guitars, clean vocals), and Kerim "Krimh" Lechner (drums).

Septicflesh's music is characterized by its grandiose orchestration, intricate compositions, and powerful, theatrical performances. Their lyrical themes often explore dark and existential concepts, complementing their intense musical style. Throughout their career, Septicflesh has released critically acclaimed albums such as "Communion" (2008), "The Great Mass", and "Codex Omega", solidifying their status as pioneers in the symphonic death metal genre. Their discography also includes the hit singles “Anubis,” “A Desert Throne,” “The Vampire from Nazareth,” “Portrait of a Headless Man,” “Sangreal,” and “Pyramid God.”
