James Daniel Maddison is a British professional football player who was born on November 23, 1996, in Coventry, England. He plays as an attacking midfielder. Early on in his career, he joined his hometown’s youth team, Coventry City, and played for the first time in 2014 against Cardiff City, a match in which Maddison was a substitute.
In 2016, he signed for Norwich City, but was loaned back to his hometown team for that current season. In August 2016, he was loaned to Aberdeen, a Scottish team. He came back to Norwich City and debuted in 2017 against Preston North End. In 2018, he signed for Leicester City on a contract for five years. Internationally, he played for the England under-21 team in 2016, and in 2019, he was included on the English team for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
