Roger Eno Bio

Roger Eno is a British musician, composer and record producer, best known for being a pioneer of the minimalism genre. He was born Roger Eugene Eno in 1960, in Woodbridge, Suffolk, England and he is the brother of musician Brian Eno. Roger began his musical studies at 16 at Colchester Institute and he soon started producing his own records. In 1983, his brother invited him to join a collaborative project he was involved in, alongside Daniel Lanois. Roger accepted and moved to Canada, in order to produce what would later be known as the album “Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks”. He was later signed to EG Records and he released two albums on the label, “Voices” and “Between Tides”. He has made collaborations with artists such as Miro, Peter Hammill and Tim Bowness.
