Clifton Collins Jr. is an actor born on 16th June 1970 in Los Angeles California. He is best known for appearing in the 1997 crime thriller film “One Eight Seven” as Cesar Sanchez. He started his career in 1990, playing the role of Mickey in an episode of the television show “Freddy’s Nightmares”. He would later play minor roles in the television shows “Adam-12”, “Jake and the Fatman”, and “Acapulco H.E.A.T”. From 2010 to 2011, he appeared as Thomas in the television series “The Event” alongside Jason Ritter, Sarah Roemer, Laura Innes, and Ian Anthony Dale.
Collis Jr. made his film debut in 1991 with the drama film “Grand Canyon”, playing the role of Carlos’ Friend #2. In 2000, he appeared in the crime drama film “Traffic”, for which he won the Screen Actors Guild Award in the category of Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. In 2009, he appeared alongside John Cho, Ben Cross, Bruce Greenwood, and Chris Pine in the science fiction action film “Star Trek”.
