Vulfpeck Bio
Vulfpeck is the most unpretentious band you’ve seen in awhile, taking “bedroom rock” right into filming videos in an actual bedroom. They’re best described as an instrumental, low-fi funk band. The group came together while playing as the rhythm section for performances at University of Michigan’s music school. Their line-up is Theo Katzman (guitar), Joe Dart (bass), Woody Goss (keyboard), and Jack Stratton (drums, keyboard).
From these humble beginnings, Vulfpeck has toured three times and released three studio albums and four EPs, using the sales form the albums to fund tours. Their most recent album, “Mr. Finish Line,” included guest appearances from artists including Antwaun Stanley, Joey Dosik, and the one and only Bootsy Collins, legendary Parliament / Funkadelic alumni.
