Thomas Jane is an American actor born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 22, 1969. He is best known for his roles in the films Deep Blue Sea, The Punisher, The Mist, 1922, and The Predator. His career in acting happened by chance when two Indian producers were looking for a white male to play a role in their film Padamati Sandhya Ragam in 1987. After filming the movie he decided he wanted to make a career out of acting and moved to Los Angeles. His career didn’t take off immediately, but he eventually found work and went on to have a successful career in Hollywood landing roles in films and television series like At Ground Zero, Boogie Nights, Killshot, The Mist, The Punisher, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Vice, High Tide, Arrested Development, Before I Wake, and many more. Throughout his career he has been nominated for several Golden Globes and has won a Florida Film Critics Circle Award for Best Ensemble Cast. He has also written several comic books like Bad Planet, Alien Pig Farm 3000, Dark Country, The Lycan, and Alien Worlds.
