Poppy Lee Friar is an English actress best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Southwark, London, England, on April 16, 1995.
Poppy began her acting career in 2001 when she appeared in the TV series Wilhelmina, and she has since had recurring roles in the TV series In My Skin, Ackley Bridge, Eve, In the Club, Mr Selfridge, Dead Gorgeous, and Little Einsteins. She is best known for starring in the drama-mystery film My Cousin Rachel alongside Rachel Weisz, Sam Claflin, Holliday Grainger, and Iain Glen, but her filmography also includes My Name Is Leon, Lake Placid: The Final Chapter, Dustbin Baby, and Torvill & Dean.
Poppy won a Royal Television Society Award for Best Actress.
