Aiden Turner is an actor born on 19th June 1983 in Dublin, Ireland. He is widely known for appearing in the drama television series “Desperate Romantics” in 2009. He started his career in 2005 with the four-act play “The Plough and the Stars”. He went on to make more theatrical appearances in the plays “Suddenly Last Summer”, “A City from Heaven”, “Titus Andronicus”, “Romeo and Juliet”, and “The Lieutenant of Inishmore”. Turner made his film debut in 2007 with the short film “The Sound of People”.
In 2017, he played the role of Boatman in the adult animated biographical film “Loving Vincent”. Turner made his television debut in 2007, playing the role of Bedoli in an episode of the television series “The Tudors”. From 2015 to 2019, he appeared in the series “Poldark” for which he won the National Television Award in the category of Impact Award.
