Danica Mae McKellar is an American actress and author best known for her voice acting and her appearances in TV drama series. She was born in La Jolla, California, on January 3, 1975. She began acting in the late 80s with small roles in the TV series The Twilight Zone and The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. She became famous in 1988 when she was cast in the TV drama series The Wonder Years alongside Fred Savage, David Schwimmer, Olivia d’Abo, and Carla Gugino. Danica has written and published several educational books for children including Math Doesn't Suck: How to Survive Middle School Math without Losing Your Mind or Breaking a Nail, Hot X: Algebra Exposed, and Girls Get Curves: Geometry Takes Shape. Danica is also known for her voice acting in the animated series Young Justice. She has won a Slate Award at the California Independent Film Festival for Best Short, an OFTA Television Award for Best Voice-Over Performance, and a Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress Featured, Co-starring, Supporting, Recurring Role in a Comedy or Drama Series or Special.
