Monique Lamoureux Bio
Monique Lamoureux is an American professional ice hockey player who played defense in international competitions and the Canadian Women's Hockey League. She was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, United States, on July 3, 1989.
She attended the University of North Dakota, where she played for the women's hockey team and earned numerous accolades, including being named an NCAA All-American. Lamoureux's prowess on the ice transcended collegiate competition, leading her to represent the United States at the international level. A key member of the U.S. Women's National Team, she competed in multiple International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Women's World Championships and Winter Olympics. Lamoureux played an instrumental role in securing Olympic gold for Team USA at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Games, delivering a standout performance in the championship game. In the gold-winning game, she played alongside Jocelyne Lamoureux, Meghan Duggan, and Brianna Decker.
