Yu Su is a musician from Kaifeng, China, although she is currently based in Vancouver. She is best known for producing music in the genres of experimental, pop, electronic, and ambient. She started producing music in 2014, and after going on tour in her native country, China, she decided to set up a recording label called Bie. This was inspired by the need to start producing music for the many artists she had met on her tour and journey as a producer.
Some of the most notable songs she has produced include The DC’s “People’s Potential Unlimited” in 2017, NYC’s “RVNG Intl. & Arcane” in 2018, and others. In 2020, she self-released her first studio album, titled “Yellow River Blue”. The album was described by The Quietus Review as warm and inviting. She has also worked with fellow musician Scott Johnson Gailey.
