Pearl Jam is a band formed in Seattle, Washington, United States in 1990. The group members are Jeff Ament, Eddie Vedder, Matt Cameron, Mike McCready, and Stone Gossard. Pop and rock are their musical specialties, and their style is alternative pop/rock, alternative/indie rock, grunge, and hard rock. Pearl Jam is known for avoiding mass ticket distributors. Some of their song highlights are “Even Flow”, “Better Man”, “Corduroy”, “Black”, “Do the Evolution”, “Given to Fly”, “Animal”, and many more. In the movies, they are known for their work on “Big Fish”, “Out of the Furnace”, “50/50”, “Kill the Messenger”, etc. Pearl Jam has a total of 12 Grammy Award Nominations and 1 win. They won a Grammy Award in 1995 for Best Hard Rock Performace for “Spin The Black Circle". They were also nominated for a CableACE Award, 1 World Soundtrack Award, OFTA Film Award, and 2 VMAs. In 1993, they won a VMA for Video of the Year, Best Group Video, Best Metal/Hard Rock Video for “Pearl Jam: Jeremy, Color Version". In 2017, they were inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
