The S.L.P. Bio
The S.L.P. is a solo music project led by Serge Pizzorno, who is the songwriter and guitarist of the English indie rock band Kasabian. The name of the project comes from the full name of Pizzorno, Sergio Lorenzo Pizzorno. The first single Pizzorno released as S.L.P. was “Favourites” featuring English rapper Simbiatu 'Simbi' Abisola Abiola Ajikawo, better known by her stage name Little Simz. The single was released in 2019, debuting on BBC Future Sounds. Pizzorno began touring as S.L.P. in the U.K. and Europe, including shows in Germany, Italy and The Netherlands. He then produced and recorded his debut album as S.L.P. at his own studio, Leicester. It was released in 2019 and it debuted at number 7 at the UK Albums Charts.
