Antonio Pierce is a former football player and currently the coach for the Las Vegas Raiders, which competes in the National Football League. He attended Paramount High School, where he played his high school football. He first played college football for Mount San Antonio College before switching to the University of Arizona. After his senior year, he was not selected in the 2001 NFL draft because many NFL teams believed he didn’t have the physicality to play linebacker in the league.
He started his professional career with the Washington Redskins after being signed in 2001 as an undrafted rookie free agent. In March 2005, he joined the New York Giants. Unfortunately, his 2005 season ended prematurely after sustaining an injury. In February 2010, he was released by the New York Giants. He started his coaching career in February 2012 after being named the head coach of Long Beach Polytechnic High School. In December 2017, he became lineback coach of Arizona State University.
