Joey Okesson Bio
Joey Okesson is a Snowboarder from Southbury, Connecticut. His outstanding performance has seen him finish in the top ten twice at the World Cup and five times in the top ten finishes in the NorAm Cup. With a career spanning more than 20 years, he has made a name for himself in the snowboarding world. After being picked in the alternate for the 2020 Burton US Open and finishing in fifth place, he was selected directly to the US Pro Snowboard Team, becoming the youngest member.
Growing up, Okesson had a passion for sports and this encouraged him to engage in snowboarding, which he eventually pursued as a career. He also has a younger brother who has followed in his footsteps. They both participated in the 2020 Burton US Open. Okesson also likes skateboarding. When he’s not snowboarding, he’s skateboarding.
