Nick Swardson Bio

Nicholas Roger Swardson, widely known as Nick Swardson, is an actor, producer, screenwriter, and stand-up comedian born on October 9, 1976, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. He has starred in and co-written several Adam Sandler films. His career as a stand-up comedian began at age 18 in Acme Comedy Co. and won the Funniest Person in the Twin Cities award. 

At age 20, he was shortlisted to perform at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. His Comedy Central sketch show, Nick Swardson's Pretend Time, aired for two seasons from 2010 to 2012. In 2015, he voiced Kelsey in Hotel Transylvania 2 and Remy in Hell & Back. He has been nominated for six awards.

His acting credits include Bill Burr Presents Immoral Compass (2021) as Jake, The Wrong Missy (2020) as Nate, Sandy Wexler (2017) as Gary Rodgers, and Typical Rick (2016) as Gary. He executive produced Nick Swardson: Taste It (2015) and The Do-Over (2016). His writing credits are Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star (2011), Nick Swardson: Seriously, Who Farted? (2009), and Grandma's Boy (2006). He is the creator of the 2016 Typical Rick.
